Chikku Bukku is a beautiful romantic love story directed by Manikandan. It will be his directorial debut. The film has Arya as the protagonist. Shriya Saran acts opposite Arya for the first time in this movie. The story happens in train and thus the name ‘Chikku Bukku’. Both Arya and Shriya are popular among Telugu viewers as well, and the film will be released in both Tamil and Telugu.

The movie is a travelogue of two people by starting in London and ends in Karaikudi. Arya plays the role of Arjun, a chocolate boy, and Shriya will be Anu, a charming girl. Mumbai based model Preetika also appears in another important role.

The film is shot at exotic locations around the world like London Austria, and at the scenic locales of Chikmagalur, Madikeri, Mandalpet, and Kudremukh of Karnataka. Locations in London includes St. Paul’s Cathedral,Westminister, Cannary Warf and Piccadilly Circus.

Chikku Bukku, a nostalgic clang of a train, is expected to give its viewers a new romantic journey.  R. B. Gurudhev was selected to portray the role of the cinematographer, whilst Hariharan and Leslie Lewis will operate as the music directors for their second film, following Modhi Vilayadu.
