Karyasthan - Family more Comedy less Dileep's Karyasthan is a family entertainer. The Story is about the value and clash of relationship among two families. Dileep's charming in comedy scenes are under the shadows of many of his hit characters. The new Director Thomson handled the script by veterans Sibi K Thomas and Udayakrishn safely.
The story revolves around two big families 'Puthezhadathu Tharavadu’ led by Shankaran Nair(G K Pillai) and 'Kizhakkedathu Tharadu' led by Krishna Warrior (Madhu) . The unexpected incident broken the good relationship between these families long ago and Krishanunii (Dileep) comes as ‘Karyasthan’ to resolve the issues and finally the two families join hands by realizing the real factors behind the incident is the climax.
Suraj is once again proved his hilarious presence through out the movie, but salim kumar and harisree ashokan lacks their blaze. New face Akhila is good looking in her traditional and modern attires. Siddique’s character is very touching as a son and father.
The songs are good and well picturised. All famous Malayalam Television artists features in a song (remember Om Shanti Om) and it’s good to see them all without tears. Lyrics by Kaithapram and Music by Berny Ignatius team is Okay but not delivered their best.
Art by Salu K George, Camera by P Sukumar are fine with the script. Director Thomson definitely deserve a pass mark. The movie is good to watch as a diwali entertainment. Expect less and enjoy.
