Mohanlal's forthcoming film Angel John, to be directed by S.L.Puram Jayasuriya, will mark the Malayalam debut of upcoming Tamil sensation Shanthnoo Bhagyaraj, son of Tamil actor-director K. Bhagyaraj and Poornima.Angel John , is produced by Narayana Das under the banner of Creative Team Productions.

The movie is cinematographed by Ajayan Vincent, who made a strong start in Malayalam with the recent movie 'Bhramaram'. Also in the cast of this movie are Lalu Alex, Vijayaraghavan, Ambika, Baiju, Bijukuttan, Jagathy and Sona Nair.
