Sahasram– Serial of Suspense Sahasram directed by Dr. Janardhanan, released as the first movie of the Christmas season with Suresh gopi in the lead as an IPS Officer.So the expectations are high.The plot of the movie is an investigation of a murder happened in the shooting location of a horror movie. So the movie has a "thousand" subject to reveal from the first frame to the end. Horror, Love, Revenge, Cinema shooting, Police, investigation and many flavors of a commercial cinema is blended to attract the viewers.Director intentionally avoided the typical Suresh Gopi branded fire spitting dialogues and close up shots but the story lacks a proper tempo of an investigative movie. The first half let down the viewer’s concentration, but in the second half the director manages to maintain it to a certain extent. The actors are performed well but none of the characters in the story to register any substance among the audience is a drawback. The songs are okay but the scenes are not impressive, No thrilling scenes for the good BGM. The art work is the camera by Senthilkumar is very much noticeable. The efforts behind the movie is appreciable. Verdict: The movie is good to watch as weekend time pass |
