Eeram, coming from the production house of Shankar – (S Pictures) which has the reputation of giving the hits Kadhal and Imsai Arasan. This movie is Directed by Arivazhagan who was assistant to Shankar in Boys and Anniyan; an alumnus of Chennai Film Institute, he won a gold medal for a short film he made during his college days! He takes care of the story, screenplay, and dialogues. The film stars Aadhi (of Mirugham fame), Nanda, Sindhu Menon and Saranya Mohan in the lead roles.

The movie is a thriller which revolves around the events in a hamlet near Trichy. “I am a fan of crime writer Rajesh Kumar. His style of storytelling is what has inspired my Eeram,” says director Arivazhagan. Based on a quest that two individuals take up to unearth a truth, the story moves on a swift trail. Aadhi of Mirugam fame is playing the role of Assistant Commissioner of Police. The romance between him and Sindhu Menon happens in the temple premises. Nandha plays an engineer who romances with Charanya Mohan. All the crime and chasing happens and heightens between the four young people. How they solve the mystery forms the core of Eeram.

Music is by Thaman, one of the lead actors of Boys. Cinematography has been handled by Manoj Paramahamsa, a vivacious student of College of Cinematography, and Kishore is the editor. Stunts have been choreographed by “Stunt” Selva. The special effects in the film will be done by Indian Graphics.
