Elsamma enna Aankutty

Elsamma enna aankutty is director Lal Jose's new flick. Indrajith and Kunchacko Boban are the male leads in the film. Lal Jose, who found some extra ordinary talents like Kavya Madhavan, Jyothirmayi, Samvrutha Sunil, Tessa, Muktha, Meera Nandan and Archana Kavi. This time he introduces actor actor  Augustine's daughter Ann as Elsamma. The movie is being produced by Ranjith under the banner of Rejaputhra Visual Media.

The film tells the tale of a small sleepy village called 'Balan Pillai City'. The village wakes up every morning with the arrival of Elsamma, The village ‘newspaper girl,' she is also a reporter for one of the dailies and Palunni the milk boy. Kunchacko Boban dons the role of Paalunni, whose real name is nnikrishnan. He dreams of buying more cows and selling milk. Although he is in love with Elsamma, he does not have the courage to tell her his feelings.

Elsamma lives in a small house adjacent to Kunnel Pappan's (Nedumudi Venu), a local landlord She is the breadwinner of the family and looks after her mother and siblings upon her father's death. She tends to use her position as a journalist to teach wrongdoers a thing or two through the paper she works for. 


The film also has some interesting characters such as Balan Pillai (Janaradhanan), for instance, a tea show owner, after whom the village has been named. There is also Sugunan (Vijayaraghavan) a toddy shop owner, whom Elsamma dislikes. Maniyan Pillai Raju, as a sub-inspector, Suraj Venjarammoodu as a marriage broker and Jagathy Sreekumar as a panchayat member. Indrajith has an important role in the movie. He plays Eby, Kunnel Pappan's grandson.

Scripted by Sindhu Raj, who had earlier scripted Lal Jose's Mulla. Rajamani has composed the music for the film while the lyrics have been written Rafeeq Ahmad. Camera has handled by Vijay Ulaganath and edited by Ranjan Abraham. The movie is expected to be released in september first week.
