Director Ranjith’s new film is ‘Indian Rupee’, starring Prithviraj and Thilakan in lead roles.‘Indian Rupee’ is produced by Prithviraj, Santhosh Sivan and Shaji Nadeshan under the banner of Capitol Theatre.Cinematography by S Kumar and editing by Vijay Shankar The musical score by Shahbaz Aman. and lyrics by Mullanezhy and VR Santhosh. Storyline JP and CH are two small town real estate brokers who work for Rayinka the seasoned player. JP is visceral and chases a dream of making it big while CH is rational and rooted to his day to day needs. JP is in search for his real break in life and other than CH, only his love interest, Dr. Beena seems to understand his struggle. The duo runs through the underbelly of Calicut operating from their make shift film distribution office turned into their real estate shack. To their mundane existence enters Achutha Menon, a man with mystery in his past. He gives them a grand plan which would change their lives forever. JP decides to throw the dice and fate turns around spinning him into a wheel round of events where he will alter everything around him – relationships, love, friendship and even integrity..
