Ulakam Chuttum Valiban is a comedy entertainer directed by Raj Babu, with Jayaram in the lead role. Mithra Kurian and Vandana play the female leads. Ulakam Chuttum Valiban tells the story of Jayashankar (Jayaram), a wholesale vegetable vendor, who lives with his mother and only sister. To arrange money for his sister's wedding he goes to the city to meet his distant relative. The incidents that happen once he reaches the city are told in an entertaining manner in the film.  Suraj Venjaramoodu, Salimkumar, Biju Menon and Suresh Krishna play supporting roles in Ulakam Chuttum Valiban. Krishna Poojappura has written the script of the film. Mohan Sithara has composed the music while lyrics are by Engadiyoor Chandrsekharan and Rajeev Alunkal. Anandhakuttan is the director of photography. Ulakam Chuttum Valiban is produced by Milan Jaleel under the banner of Galaxy films. The film is slated as an Onam release on September 9, 2011.
