Ace cinematographer Samir Thahir would turn director with a film titled 'Chappa Kurishu'. The term is a local slang word from Fort Kochi and has the meaning of the 'heads or tails' expression. Fahad Fazil and Vineeth Sreenivasan would play the lead roles in the film.
