Pattinte palazhi is tribute to music and its power. Directed by Rajeev Anchal and produced by A.K Pillai. Pattinte Palazhi is the story of a playback singer, who aspires to be a world renowned singer.

Meera jasmine plays the role of Veena who is blessed with music. Music is her life. Being in love with music she wanted to become a renowned singer. But she faces many hurdles in the path towards her dreams. When trying to achieve her dream she finds only obstacles, pain and rejection every where. She finds being avoided by people whom she cared for. She painfully realizes that the music in her has no way of being found by the world. When reaching a state of madness, she found her way out to the world of her music being recognized and rewarded. She was astonished by the changes in the people around her who have never helped her, but are trying to get their share of her success. Her father, relatives, teachers and her lover supporting her once she reached where she had longed for.

A lot of talented artists like, Jagathy Sreekumar (Her father Sheshadri), Nedumudi Venu (Guru Usthad), Revathy plays the role of Razia while Sreedevi Unni (mother of late actress Monisha) plays Shabnam, Razia's mother. Manoj K Jayan, Jagadish and Prem Kumar, play important roles in this movie.

The lyrics are by O.N.V. Kurup and the music is composed by Dr. Suresh Manimala. Azhagappan handles the camera. A big bungalow named 'Scot House' in Mysore is one of the beautiful locations in this movie. Pattinte Palazhi has very good music.
